Ford Gets More Intuitive: Ford BlueCruise 1.2
Blue Oval fans can now start to enjoy a more sophisticated drive with three new features on the already intuitive Ford BlueCruise technology. According to a press release back in September, Ford has established an entire in-house team dedicated to making improvements to this software, including enhancing its Advanced Driver Assist Systems. What’s New?
Ford is now making its BlueCruise technology smarter than ever before. The hands-free driving software now includes Lane Change Assist, allowing for hands-free lane-change when requested by a simple tap of the turn signal. BlueCruise 1.2 will also feature Predictive Speed Assist. This technology automatically adjusts the vehicle’s speed when approaching sharp turns or speed changes and alerts the driver to keep them in the loop. The third and final new feature is In-Lane Repositioning, offering a more natural-feeling driving experience by shifting the vehicle away from large or intrusive vehicles in adjacent lanes. All around, Ford BlueCruise 1.2 has been upgraded to deliver a more refined, human-like hands-free driving experience.
